The San Fernando Valley Project is a collective space for all things Valley. Valleyland, is monthly podcast currently on hiatus. It is produced by Aden Frank and Rebecca Gross, two valley kids who have a passion for showcasing what makes the San Fernando Valley special.
Rebecca Gross is a true Valley Girl at heart, with the accent to prove it. She inherited the writing bug from her hometown, Tarzana, where Edgar Rice Burroughs wrote Tarzan. She is the former Editor-in-Chief of The Daily of the University of Washington and is currently a freelance writer, editor, and researcher. She is also the creator and editor of a bi-annual zine, All Female Menu, which features the writing and art of female millennials.
Aden Frank was born and raised in Northridge, CA. He grew up skateboarding, and going to local public schools. He is currently a photographer as well as an Associate Producer on Venice Underground Comedy, a weekly live stand-up comedy show in Venice, CA.
Valleyland would not be possible without the help of Tom Stasinis, who helps mix and master our podcasts. Tom is a two-time Emmy award winning sound mixer, and currently works on Black-ish. We are also very grateful for our graphic designer, Monica Niehaus, who designed the logo for our podcast. Monica is a professional designer living in San Francisco. Thank you to all who have agreed to talk with us about The Valley. None of this would be possible without you.
A podcast about the San Fernando Valley. I am a cohost of the podcast, and manage the greater project “San Fernando Valley Project”’s blog. View the website here: https://www.sfvalleyproject.com.
